Well, I have been writing for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was shy and quiet with a really good imagination. I wrote a lot of stories.

As I grew up, I continued to write. In college I was the only person I knew who loved writing research papers and I put everything I had into doing a great job and I took pride in excelling in my educational endeavors.

As I ventured into the work world, I took on every writing project available, and found I had a real gift for communicating in a way that my audience could easily understand. I found that I could put myself in their shoes and it showed in my writing style.

I began to write marketing materials for various companies on the side when I finally decided to get some formal training and write full time. I absolutely love the process and enjoy the variety of projects I am able to work on.

Writing is not only what I do, but it's who I am.


Do you need a copywriter?

Now, maybe you are here out of plain curiosity. Some people are, especially if they have never hired a copywriter before.

But more likely you need a good copywriter – someone who combines writing skill with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a way your customers can understand and respond to.

What are your qualifications as a copywriter?


I have been writing copy for over ten years and have worked on a wide variety of projects that include newsletters, brochures, case studies, search engine optimized web content, articles on various subjects and more. You can view some of my samples here.

Before becoming a freelancer, I worked in the legal field as well as in education, always taking on the writing projects that were needed for marketing and advertising.


What is your educational background?

I have a B.S degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix as well as a degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of San Diego. Both programs required a considerable amount of writing & research.

I am also a graduate of American Writers & Artists Inc. that focused exclusively on commercial writing. I've taken many courses through AWAI including Direct Mail Copywriting, Business to Business Copywriting, E-Newsletter Copywriting, Web Writing and several other courses to enhance my skills and experience.

I continue my education by regularly taking classes as well as reading extensively on business writing, SEO, advertising and marketing.


What kind of assignments do you handle?

While I cover a full spectrum of assignments,  about 85% of my business is writing informational copy such as SEO web content, brochures, E-newsletters, articles, e-books, instruction manuals, and ghost writing projects. The rest includes creating a wide assortment of marketing communications materials including sales letters, ad copy, fliers and postcards.

My specialty is my ability to write clear, credible copy in a conversational tone copywriting style. Whether you are informing, persuading, educating or motivating, I provide copy that communicates your ideas clearly and effectively to your audience.


Why the health & wellness field?

Although I have written for a wide variety of companies from pet food to technology, I found that the health market was something I have a real passion for.

I have been a fitness, nutrition and health enthusiast for over twenty-five years, studying everything I could get my hands on. I continue to workout regularly and love to studying the latest information on all aspects of health.

It was really an easy decision to specialize in the field of health & wellness and I enjoy learning and writing about all the various aspects that make up the health industry.


How much does it cost to hire you?

For any type of writing assignment -- brochure, web content, article, newsletter, case study, article, manual or whatever project you need – just let me know what you have in mind and I will quote a price.

I work on a project basis, so there are no surprises. I deliver on time, every time. 

Oh, and most importantly, I'm really easy to work with!


How long will it take for you to write my copy?

It really depends on the project. For big jobs, preferably I like to have two to three weeks to work on a project. That gives me time to research, write, edit, polish and revise until I am happy with every word.

I do realize that you may not have that much time, so if you have a rush job, you just need to tell me the due date and if I am able to take on the project, I will make sure to deliver it on-time or before the due date. I guarantee it.


What happens if we want you to make changes to the copy?

All you need to do is tell me what you want improved and what the changes will be and I will make them fast.

There are no charges for up to two revisions.  They are included in the flat fee we agreed to for the project, provided they are assigned within 30 days of your receipt of the copy and are not based on a change in the assignment after the copy has been submitted.

Since I do a lot of preliminary research before I begin writing, such as client questionnaire, interviews, and reading all background materials, I have found that most clients are pleased with my copy when they receive it, but if you are not 100% satisfied, I will revise the copy according to your specifications –at my expense.

How do I order from you?

Hiring me as your writing partner is easy.

First, tell me about your project and what goals you’re looking to achieve with the project.

Then you will gather the background information I need to get up to speed on your product or service and I will e-mail or bring you my questionnaire so I can be sure to find out all I can. 

You don’t need to organize anything; I’ll do that, its part of my process. If I have additional questions, I will call or e-mail you, whatever your preference, and ask.

Once you give me the go ahead, and make the deposit, I will begin working on your project!
